- Description
- As Development Manager, D. R. YOUNG ASSOCIATES led the team overseeing construction of 480,000 sq. ft of Class A Office Space in Mountain View. The development of this corporate campus was complicated by contaminated groundwater, unconsolidated fill, a local utility co-generation plant and adjacent landfill requiring extensive soil remediation and on-site landfill gas treatment. Large scale offsite improvements were also necessary including new access roads and a municipal storm sewer pump station. What resulted was a textbook example of a successful brownfield restoration, opened in 2001.
